How to turn off notifications on your PS5 (step by step)

You can turn off notifications that pop up from games, friends going online, game invitations, downloads, friend requests, trophies, and other notifications.

You can block all notifications or individual notifications. You can also mute notifications temporarily until you log out of your PS5.

Turn off notifications on your PS5

  1. Open settings.

  2. Open Notifications.

  3. If you want to turn off all notifications, click Allow Pop-Up Notifications to turn this off.

  4. Alternatively, you can also turn off certain types of notifications. To do so, make sure Allow Pop-Up Notifications is turned on.
